2. Setup
There is nothing to setup. Once you've installed WyrmClock you can run it.
2.1. Starting WyrmClock
When you run WyrmClock it should display a clock face with the current time on it. If it doesn't then you may have started it from the Startup menu (which puts it into the background immediately), so try the Wyrm Software menu instead.

2.2. Setting the Alarm
First click the 'Alarm Off' button to change it to 'Alarm On'; this causes the time and snooze controls to be shown. Then you can set the alarm time (using the up and down buttons to the right of the hour and minute). You'll notice a thick yellow 'hand' on the clock face; this shows the position that the hour hand will be in when the alarm goes off.

When the alarm eventually goes off, it will sound for 5 minutes before turning off. You can click on the Snooze button in this time; which turns off the alarm, but turns it back on again after 5 minutes.
To turn the alarm off completely, click the 'Alarm On' button to change it to 'Alarm Off'.
2.3. Setting Options
To change the options, you need to display the system menu. This is done by clicking on the bell symbol in the top left hand corner of the clock window. Then you can select the Options menu item to display the following window.

You can change the colour of the clock's background by clicking in the 'Background Colour' box at the top of the window, then selecting a colour from the colour picker.
You can also change the 'face' of the clock (the circle of markers and the numbers) by clicking the first Browse button and choosing a bmp file to use. If you want to make your own then you should make it 276x276 pixels in size and use 256 colours.
The date is displayed in a default font which you can change by clicking in the 'Date Font' box, and then selecting the font (and size) you want to use.
The four 'hands' can have their colours changed by clicking in each of the 'Hand Colours' boxes and picking the colour you want.
When the alarm goes off, it would be useless if you have muted the volume so WyrmClock automaticaally unmutes the volume for the duration of the alarm. It would also be useless if you had reduced the volume levels to minimum, so you are allowed to change the alarm volume. This means that you can set the alarm volume so that it will wake you up even though you've set the computer volume to quiet.
The 'Alarm Wave Volume' changes the 'Wave' volume level for the duration of the alarm to the level you have set. It is usual to leave this as it is and change the master volume.
The 'Master Volume' is the main volume control and WyrmClock changes it to the level set or the duration of the alarm. You just need to slide the volume level to the right to make it louder.
Lastly, you can browse for a WAV file to use instead of the default alarm sound.
Finally, click the OK button to accept the options or click Cancel to close the window without saving the options.
If you mess up these options, you can return to the initial defaults by clicking the bell symbol, then selecting the 'Set Default Options' menu.
2.4. The About Window
Click on the bell symbol, then choose the 'About WyrmClock' menu option. This will display the About window.

This is a simple window that gives some very basic information and a link to this site.
