Installation of WyrmBoard is simple. All you have to do is download it to your hard disk and then run it. This will install WyrmBoard and put a shortcut to it in your Startup menu (which means that it will run everytime you log in).
To get started, you can either log off and log back on again, or you can run WyrmBoard from the Startup menu. Either way you will need to set up your mailserver details, so click on the 'Mail Servers' button and the following window will appear.

Running through the POP3 Server settings first, enter the address of your POP3 mailserver in the 'Server' box. You should only change the 'Port No' setting if your mailserver uses a non standard port. Then you should enter your POP3 username and password. Leave the Timeout as 60.
Running through the SMTP Server settings next, enter the address of your SMTP mailserver in the 'Server' box. Again, you should only change the 'Port No' setting if your mailserver uses a non standard port. The 'HELO' setting can be left blank in most cases, or you can enter your domain name if you have one. Authentication is only used when SMTP Authentication is required (e.g. when using AOL), but most ISPs don't require this. Leave the Timeout as 60.
Lastly, you should set how often the application should check for messages (it is recommended to use 10 minutes unless you have a fast machine and broadband connection).
You should now be in a position to create your first mailing list. For more help and support on WyrmBoard, please visit the help page.
